The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
