Throughout the evening, Russian aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.
Several individuals were wounded while local people in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and encountered disruption to water supplies, as stated by municipal leaders.
Meanwhile, a minor was fatally injured in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, based on information from local officials.
Moscow has increased attacks on electrical systems over recent weeks, while Ukrainian leadership has called for "concrete actions" from allies to apply pressure on Moscow.
"The necessity is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the US, European nations and the major economies - in supplying defensive weapons and implementing sanctions," mentioned in a social media post.
Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen projectiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such assaults as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.
Energy officials said Russia was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were working to repair systems.
A series of attacks struck energy infrastructure and civilian homes in the capital.
Several of the people hurt in the attacks on the city have been transported for medical care, according to local officials.
Regional authorities said the city came under heavy assaults throughout the evening. A seven-year-old child was killed and three other people were injured.
The assaults follow nights of air raids in the territory, portions of which remain under the control of Russian forces.
The entire country is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are harder to detect.
